About the Position

The Project Manager role will be a key strategic role reporting to the Chief Product Officer. They will be responsible for managing cross-functional and product team projects from inception to delivery. They will be responsible for reporting on status of most important initiatives; ensuring work gets done, and ensuring teams are clear on scope, process, and budget. 


What You Will Do:

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of key strategic projects - cross-functional and within curriculum team documents
  • Manage end-to-end project-- including project scope documents, schedule tracking, budget management, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with project leads to ensure timely execution, team coordination, deadline management and subject matter expert onboarding 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to develop project plans, scope documents, budgets, and SME requirements
  • Track project status and follow up with task owners to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion
  • Report weekly on project status, risks, blockers to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive project completion and elevate issues as they arise
  • Manage content author and SME schedules and deliverables to ensure timely completion of projects on deadline
  • Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What We are Looking For 

Required:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Education or related field required. Masters' degree preferred
  • 2-4 years as a project manager in publishing, education or technology-related fields 
  • Strong content development and instructional design and workflow background
  • Project Management
  • Strong Communication and leadership skills 
  • Strong organization and project management ability
  • Understanding of AI tools and integrating them into content and product development
