About the Position

We are seeking a Director of Classroom Support to provide strategic leadership and ensure excellence in the quality and effectiveness of our Field Supervisors and Mentor Support operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned educational leader who thrives on building strong teams, driving measurable impact, and creating meaningful partnerships with schools and districts. *Ensure that you submit your resume, cover letter, and education license/certification when applying. What You Will Do:

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising new staff members
  • Oversee daily workflow of the department
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handle employee performance improvement and discipline in accordance with company policy
  • Lead a team of full-time and part-time resources both “in office” and in the field

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing curriculum and training plans that align with the program’s vision, mission, and goals.
  • Managing the budget, resources, and staff of the classroom support department
  • Establish and implement performance metrics for Classroom Support Associates and Field Supervisors
  • Develop and implement training and quality review program for new hires and experienced employees
  • Identifies and recommends updates and enhancements to technology, equipment, and policies that may improve employee performance and interns’ experiences
  • Engage with District personnel, interns, and other external stakeholders as needed
  • Ensure compliance standards are maintained for team’s functional areas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments to impact change and outcomes
  • Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What We are Looking For 

  • Must hold a valid Educator certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s or Doctorate in Education strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing or supervising educators or staff. (Experience as a school administrator is a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of education/teaching experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead diverse teams and deliver measurable results.
