Program Advisor
Teachers of Tomorrow seeks a professional and enthusiastic Growth States Program Advisor to coach and guide teacher applicants and interns through our alternative teaching certification program. The ideal candidate will illustrate passion for the education field and a desire to help others succeed. This position is based in Houston, Texas. It is a hybrid role with both remote and/or in-office work, and may be assigned to assist teacher interns in one of the following states: AZ, NV, NC, or SC. The starting pay for this position is $23.00 per hour

Position Summary:
The Growth States Program Advisor is responsible for providing superior customer service to all applicants and interns who are enrolled in the Teachers of Tomorrow program. The Growth States Program Advisor provides helpful guidance, mentorship, and encouragement to all applicants and interns to help them pursue their goal of becoming a teacher.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
• List essential job duties that are specific to the position
• Gain expertise about the certification/licensure programs, state requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Use this knowledge to engage with candidates to help them strategize and problem solve to move along within the program to complete their certification
• Engage and recognize incoming calls as priority tasks
• Manage volume of emails, inbound and outbound calls
• Will possibly assist state operations team with sales representation of the program in-person at job fair, marketing events and school district events
• Assist state operations team with building relationships with local districts
• Perform any other duties (administrative, clerical, events) as directed by the Manager, Customer Success Multiple States
• Act in accordance with Teachers of Tomorrow core values
• Perform other duties as needed.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with academic excellence or commensurate experience in an educational or professional administrative capacity
• 1-2 years of customer service and/or sales experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:
• Strong sales, relationship building, and leadership skills
• Superior customer service, attention to detail, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated enthusiasm, initiative, teamwork, and professionalism
