Why This Role Matters
We’re not hiring a full marketing department—we’re hiring a Swiss Army knife of digital marketing who can build, launch, and optimize high-performing campaigns and make data-driven decisions that elevate our strategies.
This role reports directly to the Product Marketing Manager and works in close collaboration with our Customer Journey Specialist, cross-functional teams, and external vendors to bring each campaign to life. You’ll lead the execution of email and SMS marketing initiatives across four unique brands, and you’ll play a key part in optimizing the systems and automations that drive engagement, conversions, and growth.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Marketing Automation & CRM Management
- Own B2C and B2B automated workflows in HubSpot and other platforms, guiding prospects through the funnel with timely, relevant messaging.
- Manage segmentation, list hygiene, and campaign logic across HubSpot, MailChimp, Keap, and other CRMs.
- Build and deploy email and SMS campaigns directly or in collaboration with vendors, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all touchpoints.
- Ensure seamless form and landing page integrations, and manage UTM tagging for proper tracking.
- Support lead scoring models and refine logic based on performance.
2. Campaign Execution & Funnel Optimization
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to execute high-quality marketing campaigns—on time, on brand, and on target.
- A/B test subject lines, creative, send times, and messaging across campaigns.
- Contribute to go-to-market efforts for new programs and product launches.
- Partner with the paid media team to support retargeting efforts and reactivate cold leads.
- Create and optimize landing pages within HubSpot that align with brand voice and conversion goals.
3. Performance Tracking & Data Reporting
- Build and maintain dashboards to track campaign performance (email/SMS engagement, lead generation, conversions).
- Analyze funnel performance to identify drop-off points and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with the Customer Journey Specialist to enhance attribution tracking and create consistent metrics across all platforms.
- Present actionable insights that inform future strategy and improve marketing ROI.
4. Tech Stack & Automation Support
- Maintain platform integrations across HubSpot, Five9, MailChimp, Keap, Stripe, our LMS, and internal portals.
- Build basic workflows using Zapier and native tools to automate repetitive tasks.
- Troubleshoot issues related to campaign execution, delivery, and data syncs—escalating technical issues to IT or external dev partners when needed.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital marketing, with proven HubSpot Experience
- Experience with CRM-driven campaign automation (B2C and B2B), SMS marketing, and lead nurturing.
- Comfortable working across multiple marketing platforms and tools.
- Strong analytical marketing mindset—you love making decisions backed by data.
- Tech-savvy and confident navigating integrations, automations, and platform troubleshooting.
- Collaborative spirit with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Passion for education and a belief in the power of teachers to change lives.
Why Join Us?
